The entertainment industry has been my life for over 30 years; from stage, to writing and composing songs, working as a breakfast show host on commercial radio, Ring Announcer on Foxsports boxing events, podcast host, and as a Real Estate Auctioneer (yes, to me, auctioneering is also about being entertaining!). Even running a martial arts class of thirty 4 year olds is about entertainment as much as it is about education ... because kids listen and learn when they are having fun.

I am also a lifelong martial artist ... as a student, competitor and coach ... with black belt / instructor degrees in six different styles. 

And I reckon all the new books pack a punch as well!

The first children's book that I wrote was born from a game that I played with my then 4 year old son to stimulate his imagination.

I would say the line “If I had a ferret ... ”, then come up with a name to call the ferret ... or an activity to do with the ferret. Then my son would follow suit. We would then go back and forth and laugh our heads off at who could be the silliest. For years I thought about bringing Ferret to life in a book. One day I decided that I would sit down and just do it! And now I can't stop writing and creating new characters and friends. My son, however, loves Ferret the most. He says Ferret is the O.G ... the original and the best.

‘If I Had a Ferret ... ’ is the first book, and the first look, at a cute little character that kids will fall in love with. 
​And then ... they will get to meet all of Ferret’s friends.

​we would always laugh ...

​especially when,
​we have a bubble bath!
